LandscapeNatureAnimal PhotographyFoodWith so many ways of capturing images today, do you think photography will become a lost art? Explain why you think it's still relevant. Photography will not become a lost art. There is a lot of new technology being created everyday and some of that has to do with cameras and things like that. Through Instagram and all of the other social media platforms, you are able to post and edit your photos with different themes and filters. Doing this will actually add the art aspect to it. This will create depth and color to the picture and it may interest a lot of people.
Describe your favorite photograph, and explain why it's so memorable to you. My favorite photograph is the one I took when I was at Mayflower Beach. It is memorable to me because there is a lot of detail in the photo, and it is filled with different colors. This particular picture captures both the whole skyline and the whole beach. List 10 different Genres of Photography. Which genre would you like to explore the most? The ten different genres of photography are Candid, Architectural, Nature, Fashion, Food, Landscape, Night-long exposure, Photojournalism, Sport photography, and War photography. The genres that I would like to explore the most is either food photography or landscape photography. These things both seem interesting. Food photography isn't necessarily for every kind of food. The best food pictures will probably be Fruits & Vegetables or desserts. Landscape is pretty much used for any kind of picture you want to take. So it may be hard to figure out what you want to take a picture of.

The darkness is the canvas and the light is the brush. The kind of camera was a DSLR. The shutter was left open while the drawing took place.
The elements of art do interact with the principles of design by selecting the pictures that fit with each element. It is kind of hard though to determine which photo should go with each element. There are many varieties you can do for them. For the first photo, I felt that texture and proportion, the second photo, I thought that color and emphasis went well. For the third picture, I thought that line and proportion went well, the fourth picture I felt that color and balance went together because the color really pops out. There is balance because the pumpkins all seem to be organized. The fifth one, I matched it with shape and contrast. It happens to be in the shape of an apple and it really adds depth to it. For the sixth one, space and pattern went together because the picture does happen to have a lot of space and this picture looks identical to the third one. The seventh one has to do with value and movement, I just feel like there is a lot going on in that picture. The last one has to do with form and rhythm. The way I took the picture looks like it is formed pretty well, and it doesn't look like a boring picture. I feel that it has a little bit of creativity.
1. This is the picture that I decided to put up for my favorite thing. I chose this because I like to have a cup of coffee every morning, and this is usually my favorite brand. Sometimes when I'm not able to go out, it is very convenient to have this in my kitchen.
2.There were other things that I was considering for this post. I was running out of time, so I tried to think of some kind of good image. This image is something that I feel is appropriate to use for my favorite thing. |
